Built-ins: living room style
This project featured our founder and owner's very own living room. She wanted a beach cottage style living room to gather friends and family while also creating a functional space for her children's toys.
These built-ins were the perfect plan to mix functionality with aesthetic! To create more space, they blew out a pipe on the left side to create more room for the media shelves. Jordy hand designed the built-ins while her uncle and husband built them from scratch. From design to building, sanding, priming, painting, and installing- it all came together in a few short months.
Not only did they build the wall unit, but Jordy's husband was also busy building the shiplap back accent wall. This brought dimension to the space while also keeping it clean and coastal.
Picking out the perfect white for interior can be tough, we went with "alabaster white from SW" it's a soft tone that reads more cream than yellow

For the hardware, we wanted to keep it simple while also bringing a tasteful cottage charm to the room. We went with Pottery barn knobs in the tumbled brass:
Since the room is an odd shape, we decided to design a custom sofa from Roomors Furniture Store. We designed it with performance fabric, a slipcover, down alternative cushions, and thin arms for a cottage style look.
Lastly, the coffee table was the final touch which Jordy scored on Offerup for $75!
For accessories, you can find our cloudpile soft rug from amazon:
We love apartment pillows with the softest down inserts. These pillows brought neutrals to the space while also implementing patterns to the look!
